Insurance / ReimbursementAll THRIVE practitioners are non-participating providers in insurance plans. This means that practitioners accept payment at the time of service and patients/ clients are responsible for obtaining reimbursement from the insurance company. To assist in the reimbursement process, we will provide you at the time of registration with the Insurance Reimbursement Form, which will guide you through the process of determining how much of your payment to THRIVE can be reimbursed. If required by your insurance company, a treatment plan will be submitted after your initial evaluation in order to obtain authorization for your visits and pave the way for reimbursement to you. Missed And Cancelled AppointmentsTime spent in the treatment room is valuable for the practitioner and the person receiving care in many different ways. In our commitment to a mutually respectful relationship, we will make every attempt to contact each person about their up-coming appointment a day or so in advance. We ask in turn that you make every attempt to either attend your appointment or let us know at least 24 hours in advance of a cancellation. We understand that some circumstances are unavoidable and these will be taken into consideration. Missed appointments can prevent other people who need care from receiving services in a timely fashion. Therefore, in consideration of the practitioner and of other patients, we will charge full fee for any appointments not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. |
