Meet Sarah Roogow, M.Ed.

Sarah Roogow

Sarah Roogow graduated with a bachelor's degree from The University of Maryland and earned her Masters of Education from Grand Canyon University. She is pursuing a second masters / PhD in Minority and Urban Education from the University of Maryland.

Sarah spent seven years in Howard County public schools, including three years as an Instructional Assistant in the Life Skills program, working closely with students with physical and emotional disabilities. She also worked three years in Baltimore City public schools teaching Language Arts and Social Studies.

During this time she led professional development sessions for administrators and other educators, teaching them effective strategies in the Language Arts and Social Studies classroom including how to teach to students with all types of learning styles, and how to engage students who come to the classroom with many emotional issues.

For the last two years, she has worked one on one coaching children and adults with Executive Function Disorder and ADD/ADHD.
