Meet Alyson Bradbury, M.S. Ed

Alyson BradburyAlyson Bradbury, M.S. Ed, is a Psychology Associate at Thrive. She administers Psychoeducational and executive functioning assessments.

Alyson utilizes her background as a therapist in her work as a school psychologist to enhance her understanding of students and their different learning styles.

Alyson worked as an art therapist in New York City with children and adolescents for 11 years after college and graduate school. She has since worked as a School Psychologist in elementary, middle and high schools.

Initially, she worked with the Child Life program at Mount Sinai Hospital. Then, for six years, she worked with homeless teens and later she worked for L.E.A.P., bringing arts programming into impoverished schools.

In 2008, Alyson began attending Brooklyn College and earned her M.S. in Education, specializing in School Psychology. She graduated with a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College where she studied psychology and fine arts. In 1997, she received an M.P.S. in art therapy and creativity development from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y.
