Attendees of this presentation can expect to:

  • Be able to differentiate between disability supports offered under IDEA, ADA and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the implications for post-secondary transition.
  • Be able to describe the steps necessary to receive disability supports at the college level.
  • Demonstrate understanding of how to incorporate executive function, social skills and independent living skills strategies into high school transition planning at home and at school.
